VHP2 supports Diversity Day on October 1, 2024
Retrieved from 1 October 2024 we celebrate in the Netherlands again Diversity Day: a day dedicated to diversity and inclusion in the workplace. As a trade union, VHP2 is committed to equal opportunities for all, regardless of background, gender, age or disabilities. Therefore, we encourage our members and their employers to actively participate in this important day, organised by Diversity Day Netherlands.
Why Diversity Day?
Diversity Day offers a great opportunity to reflect on the power of diversity in organisations. It is a moment to create awareness and take concrete steps towards an inclusive working environment, where everyone feels heard and valued. By participating in this day, you show as an employer and employee that you embrace diversity and actively promote inclusion.
How can you participate?
On the Diversity Day website, you can register your organisation and download various tools to make this day a success. For example, there is the digital Diversity Box, with communication materials and the updated inclusion cards, which encourage conversations about diversity and inclusion in the workplace. You can also register your own activities and get inspiration through podcasts, interviews and online events.
