Good news for our members in the Metalektro: pension fund PME will increase pensions by 1 January 2026 2,82%. This means that pensioners as well as employed and former members benefit from an increase in their accrued pension.
This indexation is possible thanks to the fund's strong financial position. With a current funding ratio of 125.2% (at the end of October) and invested assets of over 60 billion euros, PME has enough room to compensate for last year's inflation.
The contribution and pension accrual remain the same in 2026: 27.98% and 1.875%, respectively.
PME is also working towards the transition to the new pension system on 1 January 2027. As soon as more information is available about the pension transition, we will of course inform you.
