Informal care is more than everyday care for each other. Think of caring for a parent with dementia or a child with a behavioural disorder or disability. Almost everyone has to deal with it sooner or later; caring for a sick relative or friend.
Recently, the ROM (Metalektro Consultative Council Foundation) conducted a pilot among 18 companies in our sector. The result is the launch of the website www.mantelzorgmetalektro.nl A platform full of inspiration and tips from participating companies and their employees.
Practical tips and concrete solutions
The pilot not only identified bottlenecks and needs, but also worked on concrete solutions and tips to better combine work and informal care. The experiences and activities from the pilot are available on the website for all employers and employees in the Metalektro.
