Tuesday 23 June VHP2 will organise the first VHP2-TechConnect from 16:00 - 19:00. A network meeting full of content and space to connect with industry colleagues.
16.00 - Reception & intro at the AI Innovation Centre (HTC 5)
We start relaxed with a drink. You will immediately meet other professionals who, like you, are working on their future: work, income, retirement and technology.
16.15 - Retirement session: choice guidance with Mark Jordens (45 min)
Quite honestly... retirement is often perceived by HR professionals, employers and employees as something of a “chore”. People run into a “choice barrier”. The value contained in the pension scheme is then not unlocked. This can be done differently. It's in process and in communication. In doing so, you turn retirement from an expense, an investment that pays off, for employees and company. How then? In this energetic session discusses Mark Jordens (innovation manager pension consultancy) Edmond Halley:
- The great communication misunderstanding in the pension world,
- The psychology behind (not) making retirement choices,
- How to break the choice barrier
Practical and understandable, with room for questions and dialogue.
17.15 - AI: where is it going, and what does it mean for you? (45 min)
Developments in AI are moving at lightning speed. What seemed like future music last year is today a reality. But what does this mean concretely for you? Where are we really, and how do you make sure you stay relevant in a field of work that is constantly changing?
In this interactive session takes Casper Kirch, co-founder of AbelX, takes you through the latest AI developments and shows why there is such a big gap between what is promised and what you see around you in practice. No vague outlooks, but concrete examples and practical tools that you can apply the very next day.
Whether you work with AI daily or are still looking for where to start: after this session, you will know where the opportunities lie.
18.00 - Networking
We will conclude with informal networking drinks including snacks. The event to gain inspiration, exchange experiences and make new contacts with VHP2 peers and colleagues from other Metalektro companies.
