Hey there! Do you have a passion for employment conditions and want to represent the interests of workers? At VHP2, the union that stands up for its members, we are looking for an Employment Conditions Advisor. This is your chance to play a key role in negotiating collective agreements, recruiting new members and carrying our message to the outside world!

Location: Eindhoven / hybrid
Employment: 0.5 FTE or more

What will you do?

As Employment Conditions Advisor, you are the driving force behind the collective bargaining process and the face of VHP2 to our members and the outside world. You represent the interests of our members, make sure their voices are heard and help recruit new members by propagating our core values and successes. 

Your duties include: 

    • Preparing and conducting collective agreement negotiations on behalf of VHP2 and our members.
    • Advise members on terms and conditions of employment and their rights within the collective agreement.
    • Analyse current collective agreements and formulate improvement proposals.
    • Actively recruit new members through events, information meetings and social media.
    • Organising workshops and training sessions for members and local representatives on collective bargaining and working conditions.
    • Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and inform our members accordingly.

What we are looking for: 

    • You have completed a college or university degree, preferably in HRM, employment law or a related field.
    • You have excellent knowledge of employment law
    • You can communicate clearly and make complex information understandable to all.
    • You are proactive, committed and confident.
    • You have ideas regarding membership recruitment and creating visibility for our organisation.
