Career counselling

Career guidance is provided by our experienced coaches, Annelies Dorgelo and Carin van Holstein. It is a service that we can offer free of charge to our members who fall under the scope of the Metalektro CLA! This support is possible through agreements on this subject with A+O Metalektro. Members who are not covered by the Metalektro collective bargaining agreement get a substantially reduced rate.

Career counselling is for anyone who wants to get the best out of themselves in a rapidly changing job market. It is a good way of making your career 'future-proof'. You get a better understanding of your motives, ambitions and (changing) interests regarding your work and you clarify which steps are needed to fulfil your wishes.

Feeling out of place, lack of challenge, high workload and the need for a new direction are common career questions. Major changes such as mergers, acquisitions, or physical limitations can lead to job changes or even dismissal. Finding a better work-life balance, and avoiding stress or industrial conflicts are therefore crucial.
