The basics
Duration
The collective agreement is effective from 1 November 2022 to 30 April 2024.
Declared generally binding (avv)
The collective agreement applies to all employees in job groups 10 to 19 covered by the scope of the collective agreement.
Type of collective agreement
This is a standard collective agreement. This means that the collective agreement cannot be deviated from in a negative sense for the employee.
CLA parties
The collective agreement was concluded by the following parties:
- Employee organisations: VHP2, CNV Vakmensen.nl
- Employer: Ampleon Netherlands B.V.
Pension Fund
Ampleon employees are covered by the pension fund Industrial pension fund Metalektro (PME).
Salary
Salary increase
The Cao Ampleon 2022-2024 includes the following salary agreements:
- As of 1 March 2023: A collective salary increase of 3%.
- As of 1 January 2024: An additional collective salary increase of 2.5%.
Bonuses
Ampleon has a bonus scheme based on business results and individual performance. The bonus may vary annually and is set in consultation with the works council.
Personal Budget
Employees receive a personal budget which can be spent on additional leave, training, or other fringe benefits.
Travel reimbursement
Commuting
According to the collective agreement, employees can claim a travel allowance of €0.19 per kilometre for commuting, with a maximum of 35 kilometres one way.
Missions
For missions, reimbursement is based on the lowest class of public transport. When using a private car, the allowance is €0.30 per kilometre.
Home working allowance
There is no standard homework allowance included in the collective agreement, but individual agreements can be made on this matter
Holidays and leave
Holidays
Employees are entitled to 200 holiday hours per year for full employment of 40 hours per week. The collective agreement also offers the possibility to buy or sell additional holidays through the A la Carte scheme.
Holidays
Public holidays recognised in the collective agreement include:
- New Year's Day
- Easter Sunday and Monday
- King's Day
- Ascension Day
- Whit Sunday and Whit Monday
- Christmas Day and Boxing Day
Care leave
Employees are entitled to short-term care leave of up to 2 weeks per year for the care of a sick child, partner or parent.
Working hours and shifts
Standard working hours
The standard working time at Ampleon is 40 hours per week, unless otherwise agreed in individual employment contracts.
Shifts
For employees working in shifts, the collective agreement includes agreements on allowances and rosters. The shift bonus is calculated on the basis of hours worked outside regular working hours.
Part-time prior to retirement (80-90-100 scheme)
Employees can avail of the 80-90-100 scheme. This means that the employee works 80%, receives 90% salary and accrues 100% pension.
Sickness and disability
Continued pay in case of illness
In the first year of illness, employees receive 100% from their wages. In the second year, this is reduced to 70% of pay.
Reintegration
Ampleon offers comprehensive support for employees reintegrating after a period of illness. Individual plans are drawn up in consultation with the employee and the company doctor.
Training and development
Right to training
The collective agreement contains provisions on training and development. Employees are entitled to training that promotes their employability and development. This can involve both job-related training and training aimed at broader employability.
Personal development plan (PDP)
Employees can have a Personal development plan (PDP) plan, in which they set out their training and development needs for the coming years. Ampleon provides financial and time compensation for training undertaken under this plan.
Pension
Pension scheme
The pension scheme of Ampleon is administered by PME. Employees accrue pension according to the rules of this fund. A guaranteed pension applies to employees covered by the collective agreement.

- 1 May 2024: Increase in travel allowance to €0.21 per kilometre for commuting.
- 1 January 2024: Introduction of a new training budget within the A la Carte scheme.
- 31 October 2023: Start of collective bargaining negotiations for the new 2024-2026 term.
